A Silent Conversation

Stay with me in stillness, will you?
Stay with me in silence, will you?
Eloquent words I have in abundance,
But precious are the moments when I don’t have to say a word to you.

My fleeting glance speak.
My breath and sigh speak.
My self absorption speak.
Me observing you speak.

But to hear to this, come to me with void.
Bring that inertia with you.
Carry the heaviness of deliberation along.
Become oblivious to the obvious.

In this action of inaction,
Let our inhibitions fade away.
Let our hearts burden lighten.
Let us find comfort and warmth.

In this profoundnesses of nothingness,
Let us affirm our existence.
Let us re-centre.
Let us be.

Stay with me in stillness, will you?
Stay with me in silence, will you?
Eloquent words I have in abundance,
But precious are the moments when I don’t have to say a word to you.
